Repaq is an innovative start-up for 100% compostable zero-waste packaging with locations in Börnsen near Hamburg and Berlin. With 20 employees, we develop, design and produce flexible packaging from natural and renewable materials, mainly for food customers throughout Europe. In this way, we reduce CO2 emissions and global plastic waste. Our customers particularly appreciate the quality of our products and the excellent service we provide.

To strengthen our team in Börnsen, we are looking for a motivated, qualified HR Manager (f/m/d) in full-time with immediate effect.

Responsibilities include

  • Team building: recruiting from job advertisement to the end of the application process
  • Onboarding of new team members
  • Team coaching in line with the corporate culture
  • Supporting and advising our employees on personnel-related topics
  • Proactive management of regular staff appraisals
  • Offering and analysing further training and educational holidays
  • Continuous development of the human resources department and optimisation of our processes
  • Personnel administration, including the preparation of contracts, references, notices of termination, warnings, certificates and other personnel-related documents
  • Development, organisation and implementation of staff incentive programmes such as mobility and participation programmes
  • Development and implementation of management development programmes

Job profile

  • You have a degree in business psychology or economics with a focus on human resources or a completed commercial apprenticeship with further training in the area of human resources or a comparable apprenticeship
  • You have solid knowledge of labour law, employee motivation and management development
  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience in a position with responsibility for human resources
  • Ideally, you have already been involved in scaling the company to +100 employees
  • You are emphatic and have a good feeling for people
  • You are eloquent, team-oriented and work success-oriented
  • You have an independent, systematic and solution-oriented way of working
  • You like to get stuck in and enjoy building up and shaping your work area yourself
  • You are able to grasp requirements quickly and to work out, coordinate and achieve them independently
  • You feel comfortable in a start-up environment with variable stress levels
  • You are fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • You have a good command of MS Office, including Excel and HR administration software
